Did you know there are special timeframes in which your transaction paperwork must be submitted to the Compliance Team? These timeframes are in place for two reasons: 1.) to maintain an accurate and timely record of your transaction paperwork and 2.) to avoid delays in getting you paid after closing. Please study the submission timeframes below:
Listing Packet (Seller Transaction): Within 24 Hours Of Going “ACTIVE” On MLS
Under Contract Packet (Seller Transaction): 3 - 5 Days Before Closing
Buyer Packet (Buyer Transaction): 3 - 5 Days Before Closing
The most commonly overlooked submission timeframe is the Listing Packet — 90% of company listings on REColorado are missing the associated Listing Packet!!!!! In the event that you (or Equity Colorado Real Estate) are audited by the Real Estate Commission, we must be able to provide your Listing Packet for review. If we are unable to do so, both you and Equity Colorado Real Estate could face disciplinary action (fines, fees, etc.). REMEMBER: Listing Packets MUST be submitted to the Compliance Team within 24 hours of going “ACTIVE” on the MLS!
New Licensees (2 Years Or Less of Licensure): If you are a newly licensed Agent with Equity Colorado Real Estate (2 years or less of licensure OR 5 or less transactions), please remember that you must submit ALL of your contracts to the Support Hotline (Contracts@Equity-USA.com) for review before obtaining client signatures.
And finally, a summary of these submission timeframes and guidelines have been outlined on the first page of the Listing Packet Checklist, Under Contract Packet Checklist, and Buyer Packet Checklist. Be sure to read the information on the first page of each checklist carefully — you may be missing out on important process information!
